Exodus 19:14-16

14 So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes. 15 And he said to the people, “Be ready for the third day; (A)do not come near your wives.”
16 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were (B)thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp (C)trembled.

14 After Moses had gone down the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes.(A) 15 Then he said to the people, “Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain(B) from sexual relations.”
16 On the morning of the third day there was thunder(C) and lightning, with a thick cloud(D) over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast.(E) Everyone in the camp trembled.(F)
