7 Listen! When he hears a certain report,(A) I will make him want to return to his own country, and there I will have him cut down with the sword.(B)’”

Those who (B)rejoice in My exaltation.”
4 The (C)noise of a multitude in the mountains,
Like that of many people!
A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together!
The Lord of hosts musters
The army for battle.
5 They come from a far country,
From the end of heaven—
The (D)Lord and His [b]weapons of indignation,
To destroy the whole (E)land.

4 Listen, a noise on the mountains,

Listen, an uproar(E) among the kingdoms,
like nations massing together!
The Lord Almighty(F) is mustering(G)
an army for war.
5 They come from faraway lands,
from the ends of the heavens(H)—
the Lord and the weapons(I) of his wrath(J)—
to destroy(K) the whole country.
