16:3 Prisca and Aquila. The couple were tentmakers like Paul (Acts 18:3). He was with them in Corinth. They had left Rome following the decree of Claudius and accompanied Paul to Ephesus (Acts 18:18). They taught Apollos (Acts 18:24–26) and later returned to Rome.
