3:14–37 The Levite clans are identified and their various duties prescribed: the Gershonites were to care for the large structures of the tabernacle (vv. 21–26), the Kohathites for its interior furnishings (vv. 27–32), and the Merarites for the smaller parts of the structure (vv. 33–37).
