3:18 Thaddaeus. Mark and Matt. 10:2–4 list identical names for the Twelve. The parallel list in Luke 6:12–16 (cf. Acts 1:13) had “Judas” instead of “Thaddaeus.” A possible explanation of this difference is that Thaddaeus had a second name, Judas.
