Strictly speaking, Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread were different but immediately successive festivals (Num. 28:26, 27), but by New Testament times the names were used interchangeably. The feast commemorated the great deliverance of Israel from Egypt (Ex. 12:17; Mark 14:1 note).
