5:10 bath . . . homer . . . ephah. The bath was a liquid measure of about six gallons. For its size, the vineyard would produce practically nothing. Likewise, a homer of seed planted would yield only an ephah of produce. Six bushels of seed would yield about a half bushel at harvest. The land would be cursed (Deut. 28:38, 39).
