13:10 The Levitical priests had the right to a portion of every animal sacrificed as a peace offering at the Old Testament tabernacle (Lev. 6:18, 29; 7:6, 28–36). As long as those priests and others depend on the old system of animal sacrifices for atonement and peace with God, they cannot benefit from Christ’s heavenly high priestly ministry.
