10:37, 38 Three elements from Hab. 2:3, 4 will be illustrated in the lives of Old Testament people of faith: (a) faith fixes its sights on the One who is coming, hoping in His future appearing (11:1, 7, 10, 13, 20, 22, 27); (b) faith receives God’s verdict of righteousness (11:4, 7; 12:23); (c) faith does not draw back in the face of suffering (11:24–26, 35–38).
