Acts 26:3

26:3 familiar with all the customs and controversies of the Jews. As the great-grandson of Herod the Great and son of Herod Agrippa I, who had persecuted the church (12:1–23), Herod Agrippa II (a.d. 27–c. 100) had an intimate knowledge of Jewish matters. Although influential in Jewish religious affairs because he had political authority to appoint the high priest, Agrippa II was unpopular with the Jews because of his incestuous relationship with his sister Bernice (25:13 note).
