ZEMER ze’ mər (צֶ֥מֶר). A word found only in the RSV in Ezekiel 27:8. The KJV has “thy wise men, O Tyrus”; the RSV, the “skilled men of Zemer.” The RSV follows an amended text. Zemer was located N of Lebanon, and survives in the town of Sumra, between Arvad and Tripolis.
