ZATTU zăt’ ŏŏ (זַתּ֔וּא). The head of a family that returned to Jerusalem from Babylon with Zerubbabel (Ezra 2:8; 8:5; Neh 7:13; 1 Esd 5:12 KJV, ASV ZATHUI; 8:32 ZATHOE, ASV ZATHOES). Some members of this family put away their foreign wives and their children (Ezra 10:27; 1 Esd 9:28 KJV, ASV ZAMOTH; and the then head of the family sealed the covenant of Nehemiah (Neh 10:14; KJV ZATTHU).
