The same list is recorded in Ezra and Nehemiah where the name appears as Siaha (Ezra 2:44) and Sia (Neh 7:47). The duty of the Nethinim was to relieve the Levites of the more menial tasks associated with the Temple. In the contingent led by Zerubbabel 392 Nethinim returned.
