STONECUTTER (חָרָשׁ, H3093, [KJV HEWER OF STONE in 2 Kings 12:12; WORKER OF STONE in 1 Chron 22:15], חֹצֵ֣ב [1 Chron 22:2; KJV MASON]). A cutter or dresser of stone. Solomon employed thousands of men to quarry stone for the Temple (1 Kings 5:15ff.).
