SNEEZE (זָרַר֮, H2453). The word is found in 2 Kings 4:35. It is found also in Job 41:18, where a better rendering would be “snortings” and where the KJV has “neesings,” an archaism for “sneezings.” As published in 1611, and for a century and a half after that, the KJV had “neesed” in 2 Kings 4:35, but this was changed to “sneezed” in 1762.
