SHUTTLE (אֶ֫רֶג, H756). A device containing a reel or spool of the woof thread, used in weaving to carry the thread back and forth between the warp threads; found only in Job 7:6. The Heb. word has the meaning of Loom in its only other occurrence, Judges 16:14 (KJV BEAM).
