CHESALON kĕs’ ə lŏn (כְּסָלֹ֑ון). A town on the northern boundary of the tribe of Judah (Josh 15:10). It is given in the text as another name for the “shoulder of Mt. Jearim.” The modern site is known as Kesla about ten m. W of Jerusalem.
