BITHIAH bĭ thī’ ə (בִּתְיָ֣ה, daughter of Jehovah). A daughter of Pharaoh who married Mered, a descendant of Judah (1 Chron 4:17). It is not certain whether this pharaoh was an Egyp. king or whether the name is a Heb. proper name.
