ASYNCRITUS ə sĭng’ krĭ təs (̓Ασύγκριτος, G850, a Gr. name, incomparable). A Christian in Rome, named with four other men, to whom Paul sent greetings (Rom 16:14). Named first, he was prob. the leader of this group of believers. The name is found in papyri and inscrs.
