ALLOGENES SUPREME ă lŏj’ ə nēz (ἀλλογενής, G254, of another race). One of the Coptic Gnostic works found at Chenoboskion in 1946. It may be the same as the Apocalypse of Allogenes which is cited by Porphyry in his biography of Plotinus. It consists of revelations attributed to the great Seth and his successors in the early 3rd cent.
