AENEAS ĭ nē’ əs (̓Αινέας, praise, a classic Gr. name. Douay VS, ENEAS). A resident at Lydda, bedridden with paralysis for eight years, whom Peter miraculously healed (Acts 9:33-35). His healing caused many to accept Christianity. That he was a Christian before his healing is not stated.
