Ziba [Zī'bă]—plantation or strength. One of Saul’s servants who served Mephibosheth, but who falsely obtained half of his master’s property from David (2 Sam. 9:2-12; 16:1-4; 19:17, 29). Mephibosheth cleared himself of Ziba’s treachery (2 Sam. 19:24-30).
