Teman, Temani [Tē'man]—perfect.

  1. A son of Eliphaz, son of Esau (Gen. 36:11, 15; 1 Chron. 1:36).
  2. An Edomite chief (Gen. 36:42; 1 Chron. 1:53). Also the name of a race and an Edomite city. Eliphaz is referred to as “the Temanite” (1 Chron. 1:45; Job 2:11).
