2 La, nou jwenn yon batiman ki tapral peyi Finisi, nou moute abò l' epi nou pati.
3 Nou rive toupre lil Chip. Antan nou nan batiman an, nou te ka wè l' toupre konsa. Men, nou pase anba l' sou bò dwat li, nou fè k'ap pou peyi Siri. Nou fè tè lavil Tir. Batiman an te gen yon pakèt chay pou l' te debake la.
4 Nou jwenn kèk disip, nou pase sèt jou avèk yo. Lespri Bondye a te avèti yo pou yo te di Pòl pa moute Jerizalèm.
5 Lè sèt jou yo te pase, nou pati pou n' al fè wout nou. Tout disip yo, madanm yo ak tout pitit yo te kondi nou jouk andeyò lavil la. Nou tout nou mete ajenou sou rivaj la, nou lapriyè.
6 Apre sa, nou yonn di lòt orevwa. Nou moute abò, yo menm yo tounen lakay yo.
7 Nou soti lavil Tir nou rive lavil Tolemayis, se la nou fini vwayaj sou lanmè a. N' al di frè ki te la yo bonjou, nou pase yon jou avèk yo.
8 ¶ Nan denmen, nou pati ankò, nou rive lavil Sezare. Nou antre lakay Filip, evanjelis la, nou fè ladesant la. Se te yonn nan sèt mesye yo te chwazi Jerizalèm yo.
9 Li te gen kat pitit fi ki pa t' marye, yo t'ap bay mesaj yo te resevwa nan men Bondye.
10 Te gen kèk jou depi nou te la lè yon pwofèt yo rele Agabis desann soti nan Jide.
11 Li vin jwenn nou. Li pran sentiwon ki te nan ren Pòl la, li mare de pye pa l' ak de men pa l' yo, epi li di: Men sa Sentespri deklare: Se konsa jwif Jerizalèm yo pral mare mèt sentiwon sa a; apre sa, y'ap lage l' nan men moun lòt nasyon yo.
12 Lè nou tande sa, nou menm ansanm ak tout moun Sezare yo t'ap di Pòl konsa: Tanpri souple, pa moute Jerizalèm.
13 Men, li reponn nou: Poukisa pou n'ap kriye konsa, pou n'ap chache kraze kouraj mwen konsa? Mwen menm, se pa pare sèlman mwen pare pou m' kite yo mare mwen. Menm si mouri vini, m'ap mouri pou Seyè Jezi nan Jerizalèm.
14 Lè nou wè nou pa t' kapab chanje lide l', nou pa pèsiste sou sa anko. Nou di: Sa Bondye vle a, se sa k'ap fèt.
15 ¶ Apre nou fin pase kèk jou la, nou ranje zafè nou, nou pati pou Jerizalèm.
16 Te gen kèk nan disip lavil Sezare yo ki te al ansanm avèk nou tou. Yo mennen nou lakay Nazon, moun lil Chip, ki te yon disip depi lontan. Se la nou fè ladesant.
17 Lè nou rive Jerizalèm, frè yo resevwa nou ak kè kontan.
18 Nan denmen, Pòl ale lakay Jak ansanm ak nou. Tout chèf reskonsab legliz yo te reyini la.
19 Pòl di yo bonjou, apre sa li tanmen rakonte yo an detay tou sa Bondye te fè ak travay li nan mitan moun ki pa jwif yo.
20 Lè yo fin tande l', yo tout pran fè lwanj Bondye. Apre sa yo di Pòl: Frè nou, ou wè tout kantite jwif ki kwè nan Jezi. Malgre sa, yo tout byen zele pou lalwa a toujou.
21 Yo vin di yo ki jan ou menm Pòl, w'ap moutre tout jwif k'ap viv nan mitan lòt nasyon yo pou yo kite Lalwa Moyiz la tonbe. W'ap di yo pa sikonsi pitit yo, ni yo pa bezwen swiv koutim jwif yo.
22 Sa pou n' fè la a menm? Paske, talè konsa yo pral konnen ou rive isit la.
23 Ou pral fè sa nou pral di ou la a: Gen kat moun ki te fè yon ve.
24 Ou pral avèk yo, wa patisipe ansanm ak yo nan tout sèvis y'ap fè pou mete tèt yo nan kondisyon pou sèvi Bondye ankò. Wa fè tout depans pou yo, pou yo kapab fè kale tèt yo. Konsa, tout moun va konnen tou sa yo t'ap di sou ou a pa t' vre. Okontrè, ou menm pou tèt pa ou, ou toujou ap obeyi Lalwa Moyiz la.
25 Men, pou moun ki pa jwif yo epi ki kwè nan Jezi koulye a, nou deja ekri yo, nou voye di yo sa n' te deside: piga yo manje vyann bèt ki te ofri pou touye bay zidòl, piga yo manje san, ni vyann bèt ki mouri toufe. Egzante tout dezòd lachè.
26 Lè sa a, Pòl pran kat mesye yo, epi nan denmen li patisipe avèk yo nan sèvis pou mete yo nan kondisyon pou sèvi Bondye ankò. Apre sa, li al nan tanp lan, li fè konnen ki jou sèvis la va fini, kilè pou yo ofri bèt pou yo touye pou yo chak la.
27 ¶ Sèt jou yo te prèt pou fini lè jwif ki soti nan pwovens Lazi yo wè Pòl nan tanp lan. Yo moute tèt foul moun yo, yo mete men sou li.
28 Yo t'ap rele: Moun ras Izrayèl yo, pote nou konkou! Men nonm k'ap plede mache toupatou pale mal ak tout moun sou do pèp Izrayèl la, sou do Lalwa Moyiz la, sou do tanp sa a. Koulye a, li penmèt li fè moun ki pa jwif antre nan tanp lan, l'ap lakòz kote nou mete apa pou Bondye a pa nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis Bondye.
29 (Yo t'ap di sa, paske yo te wè Twofim, moun lavil Efèz, ansanm ak Pòl nan lavil la. Yo te konprann Pòl te fè l' antre nan tanp lan tou.)
30 Tout lavil la te tèt anba, moun kouri soti toupatou. Yo mete men sou Pòl. Yo trennen l' deyò, epi lamenm yo fèmen tout pòt tanp lan.
31 Yo t'ap chache yon jan pou touye Pòl, lè nouvèl la rive nan zòrèy kòmandan batayon women an. Yo te vin di l' ki jan tout lavil la te tèt anba.
32 Lamenm li pran kèk ofisye ak kèk sòlda avèk li, li kouri desann bò kote foul moun yo. Yo menm menm, lè yo wè kòmandan an ak sòlda yo yo sispann bat Pòl.
33 Kòmandan an pwoche bò kot Pòl, li fè yo arete l', li bay lòd pou yo mare l' ak de chenn. Lèfini, li mande ki moun li te ye, kisa l' te fè.
34 Men, nan foul moun yo, yon pati t'ap rele yon bagay, yon lòt pati t'ap rele yon lòt bagay. Sitèlman yo t'ap fè dezòd, kòmandan an pa t' kapab fin konprann sa yo t'ap di a. Lè l' wè sa, li bay lòd pou yo mennen Pòl nan kazèn lan.

3 Nou pase toupre zile Chip. Zile a te sou bò goch nou, nan direksyon nò, men nou pase adwat li san n pa rete. Nou kontinye nan direksyon peyi Siri pito. N al kanpe nan vil Tir, paske batiman an te gen chay pou l debake nan vil sa a. 4 Poutèt nou te rankontre yon ekip kwayan la, nou pase sèt jou avèk yo. 7 Kite nou kite Tir, nou kontinye vwayaje pou ale nan vil Tolemayis. 10 Apre kèk jou depi nou te la, yon pwofèt yo rele Agabis ki soti nan peyi Jide te vin rive. 11 Li avanse sou nou epi li prete sentiwon Pòl. Agabis mare de men l ak de pye l ak sentiwon an, epi li di: “Men sa Sentespri a di m: Se konsa Jwif yo ap mare mèt sentiwon sa a nan Jerizalèm, pou yo livre l bay moun lòt nasyon yo”.
12 Lè nou tande Agabis di pawòl sa yo, ni nou menm, ni lòt kwayan nan Sezare yo, nou soupriye Pòl pou l pa monte Jerizalèm. 13 Lè sa a, Pòl reponn: “Pouki sa n ap kriye konsa pou fè kè m tris? Mwen menm se pa pou prizon sèlman non m pare; mwen pare pou m ta menm mouri nan Jerizalèm pou non Senyè Jezi.”
14 Kòm nou pa t ka konvenk li pou l pa monte Jerizalèm, nou sispann ensiste. Nou di l pito: “Se pou volonte Senyè a fèt.”
15 Apre nou fin pase jou sa yo la, nou prepare nou epi nou monte Jerizalèm. 16 Kèk nan kwayan Sezare yo te monte Jerizalèm avèk nou tou. Kwayan sa yo mennen nou fè ladesant kay yon sèten Nason, yon moun lavil Chip, ki te yon disip depi lontan.
Pòl al vizite Jak
17 Lè nou rive Jerizalèm, frè ak sè yo te resevwa nou avèk anpil jwa. 18 Nan demen, Pòl te pran nou tout avèk li pou n al lakay Jak. Tout lidè legliz yo te reyini kay Jak la tou. 19 Apre l fin salye yo, Pòl tonbe rakonte yo an detay tout sa Bondye fè pa mwayen ministè li nan mitan moun ki pa Jwif yo.
20 Apre lidè yo fin tande Pòl, yo bay Bondye glwa. Apre sa, yo di Pòl konsa: “Frè nou, ou wè ki kantite Jwif ki vin kwè nan Kris la kòm sovè; epoutan, yo tout trè zele pou lalwa Moyiz la toujou. 21 Yo fè yo konnen ou anseye Jwif k ap viv pami moun lòt nasyon yo pou yo sispann obsève lalwa Moyiz la. Yo aprann ou di moun yo pou yo sispann sikonsi timoun yo epi pou yo sispann swiv lòt koutim yo tou.
22 Ki sa pou n ta fè la menm? Paske kwayan Jwif yo p ap pran tan pou yo konnen ou rive isit la. 23 Oke, n ap di w sa pou w fè: Gen kat mesye pami nou ki fè yon ve.[b]
24 Pran mesye sa yo avè w epi patisipe nan seremoni pirifikasyon[c] y ap fè pou mete tèt yo nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis pou Bondye a. Pran responsabilite pou w peye depans pou yo koupe cheve yo.[d] Sa ap fè tout moun wè sa yo te tande moun di sou ou yo se pa t verite a. Y a wè ou pratike lalwa Moyiz la nan pwòp lavi pa w tou.
25 Pou sa k konsène payen ki vin kwè nan Jezikris yo, nou menm nou te jije bon pou n voye yon lèt ba yo pou di yo bagay sa yo:
Yo pa dwe manje vyann bèt yo te touye pou ofri bay zidòl.
Yo pa dwe manje vyann bèt ki te mouri toufe osinon vyann ki ak tout san ladan yo.
Egzante tout kalite peche seksyèl.”

26 Pòl te chwazi pran kat mesye yo avèk li vre. Nan demen, li te patisipe vre nan seremoni yo t ap fè pou mete tèt yo nan kondisyon pou sèvi Bondye a. Apre sa, Pòl antre nan lakou Tanp lan pou l al anonse ki lè peryòd pirifikasyon an t ap fini. Nan dènye jou a, yo t ap gen pou prezante yon of rann pou chak mesye yo.
27 Lè peryòd sèt jou a te prèske fini, yon kolonn Jwif ki te soti an Azi epi ki te wè Pòl nan lakou tanp lan, tonbe monte tèt foul la. Konsa, yo mete men sou Pòl. 28 Yo tonbe rele byen fò: “Moun ras Izrayèl yo, vin ban nou konkou! Men nonm k ap pwonmennen anseye yon pakèt bagay kont pèp nou an, kont lalwa Moyiz la ak kont Tanp nou an tou. Kounye a men l mennen Grèk, moun ki pa Jwif vin antre nan Tanp lan pou fè yo pwofane espas sakre sa a.” 29 (Jwif yo te di pawòl sa yo paske yo te wè Twofim ansanm avèk Pòl nan Jerizalèm. Twofim te moun lavil Efèz. Jwif yo te panse Pòl te antre nan lakou Tanp lan avè l.)
30 Tout moun nan vil la k te tande koze a te vin fache anpil epi yo t ap kouri sot nan tout direksyon vin nan Tanp lan. Yo mete men sou Pòl, yo trennen l soti deyò espas lakou Tanp lan kote ki sakre a, epi yo fèmen baryè yo tousuit. 31 Foul la t ap chache yon jan pou touye Pòl, lè kòmandan batayon Women an jwenn nouvèl la. Li te tande tout lavil la nèt tèt anba. 32 Rapid rapid, kòmandan batayon an te pran kèk ofisye ansanm ak kèk sòlda, li kouri desann kote foul la te rasanble a. Lè foul la wè kòmandan batayon an ansanm ak kèk ofisye epi ak sòlda yo, yo sispann bay Pòl kou.
33 Lè sa a, kòmandan batayon an avanse sou Pòl, li arete l. Li bay lòd pou yo mare Pòl ak de chenn. Apre sa, li mande: “Ki lès nonm sa ye? Ki mal li fè?” 34 Nan mitan foul la, moun yo t ap rele byen fò. Yon gwoup t ap di yon bagay, yon lòt gwoup t ap di yon lòt bagay. Lè kòmandan an wè li p ap konprann anyen nan tout woywoy sa a, li bay lòd pou yo mennen Pòl nan kazèn nan. 35 Lè yo rive sou mach eskalye yo avèk Pòl, sòlda yo te oblije pote l, tèlman foul la te vin vyolan. 36 Paske se tout foul la nèt ki t ap swiv li epi k t ap rele byen fò: “Touye l!”
37 Pandan yo t apral antre nan kazèn nan, Pòl di kòmandan an konsa: “Èske m ka di w yon bagay?”
Kòmandan an di l: “O, apa ou pale Grèk? 38 Enben si se pou sa, ou pa moun m te panse w ye a? M te panse se te Ejipsyen ki te lakòz soulèvman kont gouvènman an fwa pase a wi; nonm ki te mennen kat mil (4,000) bandi ame ansanm avè l nan dezè a.”
39 Pòl reponn li: “Mwen menm mwen se yon Jwif ki soti lavil Tas, nan peyi Silisi. Se la m soti, nan yon vil ki gen kalite bon renome w konnen an. Silvouplè, ban m pèmisyon pou m pale ak pèp la.”
40 Kòmandan an bay Pòl pèmisyon pou l pale. Pòl kanpe sou mach la, epi li fè yon jès ak men li pou foul la ka fè silans. Lamenm, vin gen yon gwo silans nan foul la, epi Pòl pale avèk yo nan lang Ebre.

On to Jerusalem
21 After we(A) had torn ourselves away from them, we put out to sea and sailed straight to Kos. The next day we went to Rhodes and from there to Patara. 2 We found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia,(B) went on board and set sail. 3 After sighting Cyprus and passing to the south of it, we sailed on to Syria.(C) We landed at Tyre, where our ship was to unload its cargo. 4 We sought out the disciples(D) there and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit(E) they urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. 5 When it was time to leave, we left and continued on our way. All of them, including wives and children, accompanied us out of the city, and there on the beach we knelt to pray.(F) 6 After saying goodbye to each other, we went aboard the ship, and they returned home.
7 We continued our voyage from Tyre(G) and landed at Ptolemais, where we greeted the brothers and sisters(H) and stayed with them for a day. 8 Leaving the next day, we reached Caesarea(I) and stayed at the house of Philip(J) the evangelist,(K) one of the Seven. 9 He had four unmarried daughters who prophesied.(L)
10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus(M) came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says,(N) ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind(O) the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”(P)
12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die(Q) in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”(R) 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up(S) and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”(T)
15 After this, we started on our way up to Jerusalem.(U) 16 Some of the disciples from Caesarea(V) accompanied us and brought us to the home of Mnason, where we were to stay. He was a man from Cyprus(W) and one of the early disciples.
Paul’s Arrival at Jerusalem
17 When we arrived at Jerusalem, the brothers and sisters(X) received us warmly.(Y) 18 The next day Paul and the rest of us went to see James,(Z) and all the elders(AA) were present. 19 Paul greeted them and reported in detail what God had done among the Gentiles(AB) through his ministry.(AC)
20 When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to Paul: “You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews have believed, and all of them are zealous(AD) for the law.(AE) 21 They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses,(AF) telling them not to circumcise their children(AG) or live according to our customs.(AH) 22 What shall we do? They will certainly hear that you have come, 23 so do what we tell you. There are four men with us who have made a vow.(AI) 24 Take these men, join in their purification rites(AJ) and pay their expenses, so that they can have their heads shaved.(AK) Then everyone will know there is no truth in these reports about you, but that you yourself are living in obedience to the law. 25 As for the Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.”(AL)
26 The next day Paul took the men and purified himself along with them. Then he went to the temple to give notice of the date when the days of purification would end and the offering would be made for each of them.(AM)
Paul Arrested
27 When the seven days were nearly over, some Jews from the province of Asia saw Paul at the temple. They stirred up the whole crowd and seized him,(AN) 28 shouting, “Fellow Israelites, help us! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.”(AO) 29 (They had previously seen Trophimus(AP) the Ephesian(AQ) in the city with Paul and assumed that Paul had brought him into the temple.)
30 The whole city was aroused, and the people came running from all directions. Seizing Paul,(AR) they dragged him(AS) from the temple, and immediately the gates were shut. 31 While they were trying to kill him, news reached the commander of the Roman troops that the whole city of Jerusalem was in an uproar. 32 He at once took some officers and soldiers and ran down to the crowd. When the rioters saw the commander and his soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.(AT)
33 The commander came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound(AU) with two(AV) chains.(AW) Then he asked who he was and what he had done. 34 Some in the crowd shouted one thing and some another,(AX) and since the commander could not get at the truth because of the uproar, he ordered that Paul be taken into the barracks.(AY) 35 When Paul reached the steps,(AZ) the violence of the mob was so great he had to be carried by the soldiers. 36 The crowd that followed kept shouting, “Get rid of him!”(BA)
Paul Speaks to the Crowd(BB)
37 As the soldiers were about to take Paul into the barracks,(BC) he asked the commander, “May I say something to you?”
“Do you speak Greek?” he replied. 38 “Aren’t you the Egyptian who started a revolt and led four thousand terrorists out into the wilderness(BD) some time ago?”(BE)
39 Paul answered, “I am a Jew, from Tarsus(BF) in Cilicia,(BG) a citizen of no ordinary city. Please let me speak to the people.”
40 After receiving the commander’s permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned(BH) to the crowd. When they were all silent, he said to them in Aramaic[a]:(BI)
