¹¹ I went down to the nut orchard
    to look at ^(A)the blossoms of the valley,
^(B)to see whether the vines had budded,
    whether the pomegranates were in bloom.
^12 (C)Before I was aware, my desire set me
    among ^(D)the chariots of my kinsman, a prince.^[a]

^13 [b] Return, return, O ^(E)Shulammite,
    return, return, that we may look upon you.

Why should you look upon ^(F)the Shulammite,
    as upon ^(G)a dance before ^(H)two armies?^[c]
