Kanu waa sabuur Daa'uud u tiriyey madaxdii muusikaystayaasha oo waxaa lagu luuqeeyaa Shemiiniid.

12 Rabbiyow, dadkaaga caawi, waayo, nin cibaado leh waa la waayayaa,
Waayo, binu-aadmiga intii aaminka ahayd way ka dhammaadeen.
2 Mid walba deriskiisa wuxuu kula hadlaa been,
Oo waxay ku hadlaan bushimo sasabasho miidhan ah iyo laba qalbi.
3 Rabbigu wuxuu wada baabbi'in doonaa bushimaha sasabashada badan oo dhan,
Iyo carrabka waxyaalaha waaweyn ku hadlaba.
4 Kuwaasu waxay yidhaahdeen, Annagu waxaan ku adkaan doonnaa carrabkayaga,
Oo bushimahayagana annagaa iska leh. Haddaba bal yaa annaga sayid noo ah?
5 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu haatan waxaan u kacayaa
Masaakiinta la dhacayo, iyo kuwa baahan taahiddooda daraaddood,
Oo kan ay fudaydsanayaanna waan ammaan gelinayaa.
6 Rabbiga erayadiisu waa erayo daahir ah,
Oo waa sida lacag foorno kulul oo dhulka ku taal lagu kala miiray,
Oo toddoba jeer la safeeyey.
7 Rabbiyow, waad dhawri doontaa,
Oo qarnigan ayaad iyaga ka xannaanayn doontaa weligood.
8 Markii nijaasta binu-aadmiga dhexdiisa lagu jecel yahay,
Kuwa sharka lahu waxay ku socdaan dhinac kasta.

Psalm 12[a]

For the director of music. According to sheminith.[b] A psalm of David.

1 Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore;(A)
    those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.
2 Everyone lies(B) to their neighbor;
    they flatter with their lips
    but harbor deception in their hearts.(C)

3 May the Lord silence all flattering lips(D)
    and every boastful tongue—(E)
4 those who say,
    “By our tongues we will prevail;(F)
    our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”

5 “Because the poor are plundered(G) and the needy groan,(H)
    I will now arise,(I)” says the Lord.
    “I will protect them(J) from those who malign them.”
6 And the words of the Lord are flawless,(K)
    like silver purified(L) in a crucible,(M)
    like gold[c] refined seven times.

7 You, Lord, will keep the needy safe(N)
    and will protect us forever from the wicked,(O)
8 who freely strut(P) about
    when what is vile is honored by the human race.

King James Version

12 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
