11 Then the elders and all the people at the gate(A) said, “We are witnesses.(B) May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah,(C) who together built up the family of Israel. May you have standing in Ephrathah(D) and be famous in Bethlehem.(E) 12 Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez,(F) whom Tamar(G) bore to Judah.”
Naomi Gains a Son
13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive,(H) and she gave birth to a son.(I)

11 And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
12 And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the Lord shall give thee of this young woman.
13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son.
