^13 (A)Let us walk properly as in the daytime, ^(B)not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, ^(C)not in quarreling and jealousy.

⁶ So then ^(A)let us not sleep, as others do, but let us ^(B)keep awake and ^(C)be sober. ⁷ For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, ^(D)are drunk at night.

^7 (A)The end of all things is at hand; therefore ^(B)be self-controlled and sober-minded ^(C)for the sake of your prayers.
