19 I correct and discipline those whom I love, so be serious and repent! 20 Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone listens to my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he will eat[a] with me. 21 I will give a place to sit with me on my throne to the one who overcomes,[b] just as I have overcome[c] and have sat down with my Father on his throne.

19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.(A) So be earnest and repent.(B) 20 Here I am! I stand at the door(C) and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,(D) I will come in(E) and eat with that person, and they with me.
21 To the one who is victorious,(F) I will give the right to sit with me on my throne,(G) just as I was victorious(H) and sat down with my Father on his throne.
