Revelation 21:4-6

The Voice

⁴    The prophecies are fulfilled:
    He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.^[a]
    Death will be no more;
    Mourning no more, crying no more, pain no more,
    For the first things have gone away.

⁵And the One who sat on the throne announced to His creation,

The One: See, I am making all things new. (turning to me) Write what you hear and see, for these words are faithful and true. ⁶It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will see to it that the thirsty drink freely from the fountain of the water of life.

⁵He who was seated on the throne^(E) said, “I am making everything new!”^(F) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”^(G)

⁶He said to me: “It is done.^(H) I am the Alpha and the Omega,^(I) the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost^(J) from the spring of the water of life.^(K)
