4 And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; neither will there be any more pain. For the former things are gone. 5 And he that sat upon the seat said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me, Write, for these words are faithful and true.
6 And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him who is a-thirst of the well of the water of life, free.

4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.(A) There will be no more death’[a](B) or mourning or crying or pain,(C) for the old order of things has passed away.”(D)
5 He who was seated on the throne(E) said, “I am making everything new!”(F) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”(G)
6 He said to me: “It is done.(H) I am the Alpha and the Omega,(I) the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost(J) from the spring of the water of life.(K)
