Revelation 21:4-6

⁴He^[a] will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more—or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.”^[b]

⁵And the one seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new!” Then^[c] he said to me, “Write it down,^[d] because these words are reliable^[e] and true.” ⁶He also said to me, “It is done!^[f] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water^[g] free of charge^[h] from the spring of the water of life.

New International Version

⁴‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.^(A) There will be no more death’^[a]^(B) or mourning or crying or pain,^(C) for the old order of things has passed away.”^(D)

⁵He who was seated on the throne^(E) said, “I am making everything new!”^(F) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”^(G)

⁶He said to me: “It is done.^(H) I am the Alpha and the Omega,^(I) the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost^(J) from the spring of the water of life.^(K)
