Revelation 21:4-6

⁴^(A) He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever.

⁵Then the one sitting on the throne said:

I am making everything new. Write down what I have said. My words are true and can be trusted. ⁶^(B) Everything is finished! I am Alpha and Omega,^[a] the beginning and the end. I will freely give water from the life-giving fountain to everyone who is thirsty.

⁴‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.^(A) There will be no more death’^[a]^(B) or mourning or crying or pain,^(C) for the old order of things has passed away.”^(D)

⁵He who was seated on the throne^(E) said, “I am making everything new!”^(F) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”^(G)

⁶He said to me: “It is done.^(H) I am the Alpha and the Omega,^(I) the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost^(J) from the spring of the water of life.^(K)
