7 It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

7 It was given power to wage war(A) against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.(B) 8 All inhabitants of the earth(C) will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life,(D) the Lamb(E) who was slain from the creation of the world.[a](F)
9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.(G)
