7 And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And power was given to him over every tribe and tongue and nation.
8 Therefore, all who dwell upon the earth whose names are not written in the Book of Life by the Lamb, Who was slain from the beginning of the world, shall worship him.
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

7 It was given power to wage war(A) against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.(B) 8 All inhabitants of the earth(C) will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life,(D) the Lamb(E) who was slain from the creation of the world.[a](F)
9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.(G)
