¹³but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.^(A)

¹³The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

⁸But you laugh at them, Lord;^(A)
you scoff at all those nations.^(B)

⁸But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

²⁶I in turn will laugh^(A) when disaster^(B) strikes you;
I will mock^(C) when calamity overtakes you^(D)—
