Psalmi 121
Biblia Sacra Vulgata
121 Canticum graduum. Laetatus sum in his quae dicta sunt mihi: In domum Domini ibimus.
2 Stantes erant pedes nostri in atriis tuis, Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem, quae aedificatur ut civitas, cujus participatio ejus in idipsum.
4 Illuc enim ascenderunt tribus, tribus Domini: testimonium Israel, ad confitendum nomini Domini.
5 Quia illic sederunt sedes in judicio, sedes super domum David.
6 Rogate quae ad pacem sunt Jerusalem, et abundantia diligentibus te.
7 Fiat pax in virtute tua, et abundantia in turribus tuis.
8 Propter fratres meos et proximos meos, loquebar pacem de te.
9 Propter domum Domini Dei nostri, quaesivi bona tibi.
Psalm 121
New International Version
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven(A) and earth.(B)
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches(C) over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
Psalm 121
King James Version
121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
