Awaiting Redemption

¹Out of the depths I call to You, Yahweh!^(A)
²Lord, listen to my voice;
let Your ears be attentive
to my cry for help.^(B)

³Yahweh, if You considered sins,
Lord, who could stand?^(C)
⁴But with You there is forgiveness,
so that You may be revered.^(D)

⁵I wait for Yahweh; I wait
and put my hope in His word.^(E)
⁶I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning—
more than watchmen for the morning.^(F)

⁷Israel, put your hope in the Lord.^(G)
For there is faithful love with the Lord,
and with Him is redemption in abundance.^(H)
⁸And He will redeem Israel
from all its sins.^(I)
