Psalm 62:3-5
English Standard Version
3 How long will all of you attack a man
to batter him,
like (A)a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
4 They only plan to thrust him down from his (B)high position.
They take pleasure in falsehood.
(C)They bless with their mouths,
but inwardly they curse. Selah
5 For God alone, O (D)my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him.
Psalm 62:3-5
New International Version
3 How long will you assault me?
Would all of you throw me down—
this leaning wall,(A) this tottering fence?
4 Surely they intend to topple me
from my lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.[a](B)
5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God;(C)
my hope comes from him.
