³⁴Wait for the Lord and keep to his way,
and he will exalt you to inherit the land;
you will look on the destruction of the wicked.^(A)

³⁴Hope in the Lord^(A)
and keep his way.^(B)
He will exalt you to inherit the land;
when the wicked are destroyed,^(C) you will see^(D) it.

⁵Your own eyes shall see this, and you shall say, ‘Great is the Lord beyond the borders of Israel!’ ”^(A)
