⁶ my soul ^(A)waits for the Lord
    more than ^(B)watchmen for ^(C)the morning,
    more than watchmen for the morning.

¹⁸ Therefore the Lord ^(A)waits to be gracious to you,
    and therefore he ^(B)exalts himself to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
    ^(C)blessed are all those who wait for him.
