Proverbs 13:7-9

^7 (A)One pretends to be rich,^[a] yet has nothing;
    ^(B)another pretends to be poor,^[b] yet has great wealth.
⁸ The ransom of a man's life is his wealth,
    but a poor man ^(C)hears no threat.
^9 (D)The light of the righteous rejoices,
    but ^(E)the lamp of the wicked will be put out.
