⁴ To give ^(A)prudence to the ^[a]naive,
To the youth ^(B)knowledge and discretion,

³² “For the ^(A)waywardness of the ^[a]naive will kill them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them.

⁵ “O ^[a](A)naive ones, understand prudence;
And, O ^(B)fools, understand ^[b]wisdom.

⁴ “^(A)Whoever is ^[a]naive, let him turn in here!”
To him who ^(B)lacks ^[b]understanding she says,

³ The ^(A)prudent sees the evil and hides himself,
But the ^[a]naive go on, and are punished for it.
