2 Adom na asomdwoe a ɛdɔɔso a efi Onyankopɔn ne Yesu a ɔyɛ yɛn Awurade no mmra mo so.

3 Sɛnea munim no yiye no, ɔnam ne tumi so bɛma mo biribiara a ɛho hia ma asetena pa no. Na ɔma yɛn n’anuonyam ne nnepa a ɔwɔ no mpo bi. 4 Ɔnam saa tumi no ara so ama yɛn akyɛde a ɛsom bo sɛnea ɔhyɛɛ yɛn ho bɔ no. Na ɛnam so ama mo aguan afi anibere bɔne a ɛwɔ wiase no ho na mo ne no atena ne su no mu.
5 Esiane saa nti, mommɔ mmɔden mfa nneyɛe a ɛho tew nka mo gyidi ho; na momfa nimdeɛ nka nneyɛe a ɛho tew ho; 6 na momfa ahohyɛso nka mo nimdeɛ ho; na momfa boasetɔ nka mo ahohyɛso ho; na momfa nyamesom pa nka mo boasetɔ ho; 7 na momfa onuadɔ nka nyamesom pa ho; na momfa ɔdɔ mapa nka onuadɔ ho. 8 Eyinom ne su pa a ɛho hia mo. 10 Enti me nuanom adɔfo, monyere mo ho wɔ dwuma no di mu, na enni mo ho adanse ampa ara sɛ Onyankopɔn afrɛ mo, ayi mo atena hɔ afebɔɔ. Sɛ moyɛ saa a, morenhintiw na morempa abaw nso. 11 Sɛ mofa saa kwan yi so a, wɔbɛma mo akɔ yɛn Awurade ne yɛn Agyenkwa Yesu Kristo ahenni a ɛto ntwa da no mu.
12 Ne saa nti, daa mekaekae mo saa asɛm yi a munim na atim nokware a moagye adi no mu no.
13 Misusuw sɛ, eye sɛ mmere dodow a mete ase yi, mɛbɔ mo nkae wɔ saa asɛm yi ho. 14 Minim sɛ ɛrenkyɛ biara megyaw saa ɔhonam yi hɔ sɛnea yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo daa no adi kyerɛɛ me no. 15 Mɛbɔ mmɔden sɛ mɛfa ɔkwan bi so ama mo akae saa nsɛm yi bere biara me wu akyi.
16 Ɛnyɛ anansesɛm na yɛte bɛka kyerɛɛ mo fa yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo tumi ne ba a ɔrebɛba no ho na mmom, yɛahu na yedi ne kɛseyɛ no ho adanse. 17 Yɛwɔ hɔ bi na Agya Onyankopɔn hyɛɛ no anuonyam bere a ɛnne bi fi Anuonyam kɛse mu kae se, “Oyi ne me dɔ Ba a ɔsɔ m’ani!” no. 18 Yɛn ankasa tee nne no sɛ efi soro reba bere a na yɛne no wɔ Bepɔw Kronkron no so no.
19 Ɛno nti, ɛma yenya nkɔm a odiyifo no hyɛe no mu gyidi yiye. Ɛsɛ sɛ mutie no yiye efisɛ, ɛte sɛ kanea a ɛhyerɛn wɔ sum mu kosi da a ade bɛkye ama anɔpa nsoromma ahyerɛn wɔ mo koma mu no. 20 Eyinom nyinaa akyi no, monkae saa asɛm yi: Obiara nni hɔ a ɔnam n’ankasa so betumi akyerɛ Kyerɛwsɛm mu nkɔnhyɛ ase. 21 Na nkɔmhyɛ biara nso nni hɔ a efi onipa mu na mmom Honhom Kronkron no na ɛkyerɛɛ nnipa kwan bere a wɔreka asɛm a efi Onyankopɔn nkyɛn no.

1 Simon Peter, a servant(A) and apostle of Jesus Christ,(B)
To those who through the righteousness(C) of our God and Savior Jesus Christ(D) have received a faith as precious as ours:
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance(E) through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.(F)
Confirming One’s Calling and Election
3 His divine power(G) has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him(H) who called us(I) by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises,(J) so that through them you may participate in the divine nature,(K) having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.(L)
5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;(M) 6 and to knowledge, self-control;(N) and to self-control, perseverance;(O) and to perseverance, godliness;(P) 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.(Q) 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive(R) in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.(S) 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind,(T) forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.(U)
10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[a] make every effort to confirm your calling(V) and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,(W) 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom(X) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.(Y)
Prophecy of Scripture
12 So I will always remind you of these things,(Z) even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth(AA) you now have. 13 I think it is right to refresh your memory(AB) as long as I live in the tent of this body,(AC) 14 because I know that I will soon put it aside,(AD) as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.(AE) 15 And I will make every effort to see that after my departure(AF) you will always be able to remember these things.
16 For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power,(AG) but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.(AH) 17 He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”[b](AI) 18 We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.(AJ)
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable,(AK) and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light(AL) shining in a dark place, until the day dawns(AM) and the morning star(AN) rises in your hearts.(AO) 20 Above all, you must understand(AP) that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God(AQ) as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.(AR)

1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
