¹⁷ Before Moses sent them into Canaan, he said:

After you go through the Southern Desert of Canaan, continue north into the hill country

Israel Refused To Obey the Lord

(Numbers 14.1-45)

Moses said to Israel:

^26 (A) You did not want to go into the land, and you refused to obey the Lord your God.

^16 (A) Who were those people that heard God's voice and rebelled? Weren't they the same ones that came out of Egypt with Moses?
