14 I am not able to carry all this people alone, for they are too heavy for me.(A) 15 If this is the way you are going to treat me, put me to death at once—if I have found favor in your sight—and do not let me see my misery.”(B)

16 So the Lord said to Moses, “Gather for me seventy of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tent of meeting and have them take their place there with you.(C)

14 I cannot carry all these people by myself; the burden is too heavy for me.(A) 15 If this is how you are going to treat me, please go ahead and kill me(B)—if I have found favor in your eyes—and do not let me face my own ruin.”
16 The Lord said to Moses: “Bring me seventy of Israel’s elders(C) who are known to you as leaders and officials among the people.(D) Have them come to the tent of meeting,(E) that they may stand there with you.
