Ɔyarefo mpaebɔ
41 Nhyira nka wɔn a ahiafo asɛm yɛ wɔn asɛnhia. Awurade bɛboa wɔn wɔ wɔn haw mu. 2 Awurade bɛbɔ wɔn ne wɔn nkwa ho ban de wɔn asie. Ɔbɛma wɔn ahotɔ wɔ asase no so. Ɔrennyaa wɔn mma wɔn atamfo tumi. 3 Awurade bɛboa wɔn wɔn yare mu na wasa wɔn yare.
4 Mekae se, “Mayɛ bɔne atia wo, Awurade; hu me mmɔbɔ na sa me yare.” 5 M’atamfo ka atirimmɔdensɛm fa me ho. Wɔpɛ sɛ miwu na werɛ fi me. 6 Wɔn a wobehu me no nyɛ nokwafo. Wɔboa nsɛm a ennim wɔ me ho no ano na wɔakɔka wɔ mmaa nyinaa. 7 Wɔn a wɔtan me no keka me ho asomsɛm kyerɛ wɔn ho wɔn ho. Wɔbɔ wɔn tirim ka nea ennim fa me ho. 8 Wɔka se, “Ne yare no mu yɛ den. Ɔrensɔre mfi ne mpa so bio.”
9 Mpo, me yɔnko pa ara a mede me ho too ne so; nea me ne no too nsa didii, asɔre atia me. 10 Hu me mmɔbɔ, Awurade, na sa me yare, na metua m’atamfo so ka. 11 Wɔrenni me so nkonim na minim sɛ w’ani sɔ me. 12 Wobɛboa me efisɛ, meyɛ ade trenee. Wode me besie wo nkyɛn daa daa.
13 Kamfo Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn. Kamfo no nnɛ ne daa nyinaa!

Psalm 41[a]
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 Blessed(A) are those who have regard for the weak;(B)
the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.(C)
2 The Lord protects(D) and preserves them—(E)
they are counted among the blessed in the land—(F)
he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.(G)
3 The Lord sustains them on their sickbed(H)
and restores them from their bed of illness.(I)
4 I said, “Have mercy(J) on me, Lord;
heal(K) me, for I have sinned(L) against you.”
5 My enemies say of me in malice,
“When will he die and his name perish?(M)”
6 When one of them comes to see me,
he speaks falsely,(N) while his heart gathers slander;(O)
then he goes out and spreads(P) it around.
7 All my enemies whisper together(Q) against me;
they imagine the worst for me, saying,
8 “A vile disease has afflicted him;
he will never get up(R) from the place where he lies.”
9 Even my close friend,(S)
someone I trusted,
one who shared my bread,
has turned[b] against me.(T)
