20 Awurade ntie wo wɔ wo haw mu! Yakob Nyankopɔn mmɔ wo ho ban! 2 Ɔmma wo ne mmoa mfi n’asɔrefi ne Sion Bepɔw so. 3 Onnye w’afɔrebɔde nyinaa na ne nyinaa nsɔ n’ani. 4 Ɔmma wo nea ehia wo, na wo nhyehyɛe nyinaa nyɛ ye. 5 Na yɛateɛm adi ahurusi wɔ wo nkonimdi no ho na yɛakamfo Onyankopɔn wɔ nea wayɛ ama wo no ho. Awurade nyɛ w’abisade nyinaa mma wo.
6 Afei minim sɛ Awurade ma ne hene a wayi no no di nkonim. Otie no wɔ ne soro kronkron na ɔnam ne tumi so ama wadi nkonim akɛse. 7 Ebinom de wɔn ho to wɔn nteaseɛnam a wɔde kɔ ɔko so, na afoforo nso de wɔn ho to wɔn apɔnkɔ so, nanso yɛn de, yɛde yɛn ho to yɛn Awurade Nyankopɔn tumi so. 8 Saa nnipa no hintiw, hwe ase, na yɛn de, yɛbɛsɔre agyina pintinn.
9 Ma ɔhene nni nkonim, O Awurade; na sɛ yɛfrɛ nso a, gye yɛn so.

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;(A)
may the name of the God of Jacob(B) protect you.(C)
2 May he send you help(D) from the sanctuary(E)
and grant you support(F) from Zion.(G)
3 May he remember(H) all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b](I)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart(J)
and make all your plans succeed.(K)
5 May we shout for joy(L) over your victory
and lift up our banners(M) in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.(N)
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(O)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(P)
7 Some trust in chariots(Q) and some in horses,(R)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(S)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,(T)
but we rise up(U) and stand firm.(V)
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us(W) when we call!

20 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.
