116 Medɔ Awurade efisɛ, otie me. Otie me mpaebɔ. 2 Bere biara a mefrɛ no no, ogye me so.
3 Owu hama kyekyeree me na damoa ho ahometew twiw bɛn me. Ɛma mebɔɔ hu. 4 Na mefrɛɛ Awurade se, “Mesrɛ wo, Awurade, gye me nkwa!” 5 Awurade hu mmɔbɔ na oye; yɛn Nyankopɔn yɛ mmɔborɔhunufo. 6 Awurade bɔ wɔn a wonni bi ho ban. Bere a mewɔ ɔhaw mu no, ogyee me. 7 Nya gyidi, me koma, efisɛ, Awurade ayɛ me yiye. 8 Awurade gyee me fii owu mu; otwaa me nusu so na wamma manni nkogu. 9 Enti menam Awurade anim wɔ ateasefo mu.
10 Sɛ ɛba sɛ meka se, “Wabubu me koraa” a, mekɔ so gye no di. 11 Me suro mu, sɛ meka se, “Obi nni hɔ a yɛde yɛn ho to no so” koraa a, mekɔ so gye no di. 12 Awurade papa a wayɛ me yi akyi, dɛn na metumi de ama no? 13 Mede nsa aseda bɛma Awurade sɛ wagye me nkwa. 14 Ne nkurɔfo aguabɔ ase na mede nea mede hyɛɛ no bɔ no bɛma no. 15 Sɛ Awurade nkurɔfo no bi wu a, ɛyɛ no yaw yiye.
16 Meyɛ wo somfo, Awurade. Mesom wo sɛnea me na yɛe. Woagye me afi owu mu. 17 Mede aseda bɛbɔ wo afɔre na mabɔ wo mpae. 18 Sɛ wo nkurɔfo nyinaa bɔ gua wɔ wo fi wɔ Yerusalem Kronkron mu Kronkron mu hɔ a, 19 mede nea mahyɛ wo ho bɔ no bɛma wo. Kamfo Awurade!

Psalm 116
1 I love the Lord,(A) for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry(B) for mercy.(C)
2 Because he turned his ear(D) to me,
I will call on him as long as I live.
3 The cords of death(E) entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came over me;
I was overcome by distress and sorrow.
4 Then I called on the name(F) of the Lord:
“Lord, save me!(G)”
5 The Lord is gracious and righteous;(H)
our God is full of compassion.(I)
6 The Lord protects the unwary;
when I was brought low,(J) he saved me.(K)
8 For you, Lord, have delivered me(N) from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,
9 that I may walk before the Lord(O)
in the land of the living.(P)
10 I trusted(Q) in the Lord when I said,
“I am greatly afflicted”;(R)
11 in my alarm I said,
“Everyone is a liar.”(S)
12 What shall I return to the Lord
for all his goodness(T) to me?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name(U) of the Lord.
14 I will fulfill my vows(V) to the Lord
in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight(W) of the Lord
is the death of his faithful servants.(X)
16 Truly I am your servant, Lord;(Y)
I serve you just as my mother did;(Z)
you have freed me from my chains.(AA)
17 I will sacrifice a thank offering(AB) to you
and call on the name of the Lord.
18 I will fulfill my vows(AC) to the Lord
in the presence of all his people,
19 in the courts(AD) of the house of the Lord—
in your midst, Jerusalem.(AE)

2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
19 In the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
