Nahum 2:9-11

⁹“Plunder the silver! Plunder the gold!” ^(A)
There is no end to the treasure,
an abundance of every precious thing.^(B)
¹⁰Desolation, decimation, devastation!
Hearts melt,^(C)
knees tremble,^(D)
insides churn,^(E)
every face grows pale!^(F)

¹¹Where is the lions’ lair,^(G)
or the feeding ground of the young lions,
where the lion and lioness prowled,
and the lion’s cub,
with nothing to frighten them away?^(H)
